Most people who say NO to Network Marketing think it’s a pyramid thing…
…and they are right!
Like all organizations and businesses there is a pyramid hierarchy.
What it isn’t is a pyramid scheme.
When the end user gets a benefit, more often than not the company has good intentions and isn’t a scam.
What most people don’t understand about Network Marketing is there are many things outside of income potential that are incredible reasons why you should consider joining Network Marketing.
1. Benefits from the Products
Most companies create great products that bring huge value to the end user. Many will say they are over-priced, but you aren’t just getting the product. You are gaining entry to a community of others who want the same result as you. Often leading to great friendships and accountability.
2. No Qualifications Needed
Although there are people inside of the profession who have qualifications, you don’t need any degrees or school education as it will all be provided inside the business. When you attend company events you will most likely learn and discover things you weren’t expecting that bring huge value to your life.
3. Positive Environment/Community
You won’t find a better environment in another profession. From weekly team meetings online to the annual conventions, most of the time you will be pushed to be better and celebrated when you reach milestones.
4. Flexible Hours
You decide your working hours. Yes, if you choose to only do 5 hours a week then your income will likely reflect that. In the beginning you will do a lot for a little, but in the end you will do a little for a lot. Many people who want or need an extra income opt to join Network Marketing for this reason.
5. Security
Look at the statistics today and you will find that most people don’t have savings or couldn’t survive 3 months with no income. With technology advances many feeling uncertain about their job security. Network Marketing gives you the opportunity to create a safety net with one day an income that replaces your current main income stream.
6. Very Low Start Up and Overheads
Unlike traditional franchises, the cost of entry is minimal. In most cases the value the company adds for you to get started is more than the cost to start. You will also be able to leverage their products, technology and marketing for a very small monthly overhead.
7. Unlimited Earnings Potential
Unlike a traditional job where you do your 40 hours a week and get paid each month with certain days off each year. Network Marketing gives you the chance to make an unlimited income dependent on your work ethic and skillset. Many join Network Marketing for this reason. Will the huge incomes be made in a day? No. But if it took 5 years to reach the levels that excite you, would it be worth it?
8. Work From Home/Lifestyle
Today, most people are looking at people on social media and thinking, “how are they able to travel the world and make money?” Well now you know, many are doing it through Network Marketing. You choose where you want to work. To start with it will likely be from home or during your breaks at your job. Eventually it could be on a white sandy beach.
9. Gives you purpose and direction
Once your potential money problems are solved you will find that you can gain so much benefit from seeing others win. In fact, Jim Rohn once said that the measure of success is determined by how many people mention your name in their success story. One day people will thank you for the opportunity you gave them. Most careers don’t give you this opportunity.
10. Personal development
Network Marketing is a personal development journey with a compensation plan attached. In fact, Tony Robbins says “if you’re not growing, you’re dying”. You will find yourself reading books, listening to podcasts, and watching your mentors at events or online. Then as the years go by, look back at your previous version of yourself and cringe at the decisions you used to make. You will grow and that’s the key to a fulfilled life.
11. Residual income
The reason most people get excited. The concept of working once and being paid for years in the future for that initial work. But, when you reach these levels you won’t want to stop working. You won’t want retire, instead you will simply choose whether to work that day or not.
12. Leave a legacy
I have seen this firsthand with my Dad as my mentor. He is my hero and biggest inspiration with the challenges he has overcome to build his business. Imagine your children one day following in your footsteps. Will they become successful because you lead the way? It’s your choice!
