Trusting the Process: Navigating the 3 Parts to “The Journey” with Confidence and a Knowing

Most people want a BIG dream, small struggle and a BIG victory. That’s not how it works.

Embarking on the entrepreneurial journey, especially within our profession of network marketing is akin to setting sail on a vast ocean of possibilities, guided by the compass of passion and driven by the winds of determination. At the heart of this voyage lies a profound truth: success is not merely a destination but a journey—a journey characterized by three integral parts: the dream, the struggle, and the victory. Each part is equally significant, and of equal magnitude, each contributing its own unique essence to the fullness of the entrepreneurial experience. In this blog, we will delve into the transformative power of trusting the process, embracing each phase with resilience and unwavering faith, and ultimately coming out on top.

Part 1: The Dream

Every entrepreneurial journey begins with a dream—a vision so vivid and compelling that it ignites the fire inside you, the ambition and fuels the drive to pursue that life that most think is impossible to achieve. The dream serves as your daily fuel and it is important to reminisce on it daily. Wake up thinking about it. Go to bed thinking about it. Daydream. Bring the vision of your dream life into your mind and burn it as an image or visual so clear, that your brain doesn’t know whether it is your currently reality or not, making you wake up every day and take action towards that dream. The dream illuminates the path ahead and infuses each day with purpose and meaning. Your dream is in your DNA. It was put there for a reason and it is unique to you. It is your catalyst as an entrepreneur and it will propel you forward, even in the face of uncertainty.

A note about your dream: make sure you are dreaming BIG! As network marketers, we serve many dreams. If you want to be a leader and grow your team and influence to the top ranks, and achieve that BIG dream life, you must have a dream so big that your recruits dreams fit inside yours. If your dream is to make grocery money, that’s okay too, just know you will have a harder time recruiting people with BIG dreams.

Lastly, no matter the size of your dream, keep it close to you. What I mean by that, is believe that your dreams are CLOSE. When we put them far off into the future, we set the cadence, or rhythm in which we work towards it. When we believe our dreams are close, we work with a different level of urgency towards them. If they’re far off, we almost question if they’ll come true.

Trusting the process begins with embracing the power of the dream, nurturing it with unwavering belief and unwavering determination. It requires the courage to envision a future that transcends the confines of the present, to dare to dream big and chase after those dreams with relentlessness. Do not minimize your dreams for ANYONE. As entrepreneurs, we must cultivate a deep sense of faith in our vision, trusting that our dreams have the power to shape our reality and manifest our greatest aspirations. As network marketers, we must also help people see a dream and vision for their life that transcends what they previously thought possible, and show them why network marketing is a vehicle to help them arrive at that destination.

Part 2: The Struggle

The bigger the dream, the bigger the struggle.

As exhilarating as the pursuit of the dream may be, no entrepreneurial journey is without its trials and tribulations. The struggle represents the arena, the chapter, the season in which dreams are tested, where challenges and obstacles loom large, threatening to derail anyone and everyone who doesn’t want it bad enough. It is here, in the depths of adversity, that true resilience is forged, and the seeds of greatness are sown.

Trusting the process demands a willingness to embrace the struggle, to confront adversity head-on and persevere in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. It requires the humility to acknowledge that setbacks and failures are an inevitable part of the journey, but also the conviction to press on with unwavering determination. For it is in the season of struggle that we discover our true strength and resilience, emerging from the fires of adversity stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever before.

Our dream is a bigger, better reality that is off in the future. Once we get clear on that dream, we must embrace and prepare for the struggle. What if we did embrace it? What if we did KNOW it was coming? What if we even welcomed it, almost reveled in it in a way? Knowing that the struggle chapter is what is forging us into the person we were meant to become, and the person worthy of achieving that dream. When you ask for strength, you get brought to your knees, and receive an OPPORTUNITY to become strong.

This is the chapter in which most network marketers quit. We live in an instant gratification, til Tok world where we expect immediate results. It’s easy to dream. It’s hard to embrace the struggle and forge ahead while you build your skills, your influence, your network, your community, your mindset, your team, yourself. The ones that do realize step #3 in the process.

Part 3: The Victory

Yet, amidst the challenges and hardships of the entrepreneurial journey, especially in network marketing, there exists a beacon of hope—a light at the end of the tunnel that shines bright with the promise of victory. The victory represents the culmination of our efforts, the realization of our dreams, and the manifestation of our deepest aspirations. We think it’s hitting the rank, financial freedom, time freedom, the ability to live life on our own terms. But what it really is? It’s the evolution of oneself. It’s the becoming of the person you were meant to be. It’s fulfilling the potential of that next level version of you. We think there’s an “arrival” point in network marketing. There’s not. When you reach the top rank, you feel a moment of fulfillment, of pride in what you’ve built, all the people you’ve helped, but shortly after your mind goes to “What’s the next level version of me look like?”

Trusting the process requires the courage to believe in the possibility of victory, even in the darkest of times. It demands the resilience to persevere when the odds are stacked against us and the tenacity to push through adversity until we reach the other side. For it is in the moment of victory that we realize the true significance of our journey—the lessons we’ve learned, the growth we’ve experienced, and the impact we’ve made on the world around us.

Conclusion:

In the path less traveled of the network marketer, the dream, the struggle, and the victory are not separate elements but interconnected chapters that form the entrepreneurial experience. Trusting the process means embracing each phase with fortitude, recognizing that they are all integral parts of the journey toward success. It requires the courage to dream boldly, the resilience to persevere through adversity, and the unwavering faith to believe in the possibility of victory. So, fellow entrepreneurs, and network marketers, as you navigate the highs and lows of your journey, remember to trust the process, for it is in trusting the process that we find the strength to turn our dreams into reality.

And if I could leave you with anything: keep going. Your highest self and future generations are counting on you to do just that.
